Wholesome sourdough bread with chipotle sauce, kimchi and sprouts

Just like salt and pepper, we think that sourdough and fermented vegetables belong together. This is why we are sharing a simple and a delicious recipe creation with our Kimchi SauerCrowd which will take you no longer than 10 minutes to prepare.

The perfect start into the morning with lots of pro and prebiotic load from the fermented vegetables, fiber rich sourdough and sprouts.

This recipe is so simple, that every hobby chef in the world will be able to make it happen. The recipe inspiration comes from our Friend Alexandra @holaolavg_ and it contains probiotic kraut as a topping (not cooked) 🎁

Hint: Use any of our fermented vegetables as a topping (not heated) to keep all the viable bacteria and nutrients alive.

INGREDIENTS (4 people):

4 Slices Sourdough bread

4 tbsp Chipotle sauce
1/2 cucumber sliced 
1 pack Cherry tomatoes
1 bell pepper sliced (color of your choice)
Roasted veggies (leftover - We used pumpkin, onion and zucchini)
1 avocado sliced
(vegan) cream cheese (optionally)
Toppings
Rucola
Sprouts
8 Tbsp Kimchi Kraut
3 Tbs 'This is not grated cheese by Willicorft 


STEPS:

1. Get yourself a good sourdough bread, and now you are ready to go !
2. What is so great about making this delicious and super healthy sandwich is that you can add any veggies you like or have at home, but what is important is our beloved Kimchi Kraut full of gut-friendly bacteria and Chipotle sauce which gives - a unique smokey flavor yummm !
3. Sprinkle everything generously with Italian aged by Willicorft  or any other cheese you like.
